Description

In today's dynamic climate, the accounting and tax challenges that higher education institutions face are increasingly unpredictable. The upcoming webinar will explore a range of issues, including the consequences of actions taken by regulatory bodies, updates in accounting and tax regulations such as those stemming from the Inflation Reduction Act, complications related to Name-Image-Likeness, and will synthesize these discussions into practical measures that attendees can apply within their professional capacities.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify the latest regulatory changes affecting higher education accounting and tax practices.
  2. Assess the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act on higher education institutions.
  3. Analyze Name-Image-Likeness tax issues and their implications for higher education.
  4. Develop actionable strategies to navigate the current accounting and tax challenges in higher education.
  5. Apply the knowledge gained to enhance professional practices within the higher education financial environment, including the ability to communicate to leadership at their institution.

These objectives are designed to ensure that participants leave the webinar with a clear understanding of the current issues and practical skills to apply in their roles.
