Chris will share his insights on how to overcome adversity and push through trials and tribulations to become resilient. He will also share how his pain of losing his mother led him into his expertise on how colleagues, colleges, educators and communities in general can be united. Although some talks of, “unity” seem to bring about divisiveness, Chris shares very important truths in a non-pugnacious way. His heart warming story of how love conquers hate will leave the audience inspired to be the change that they wish to see in the world. Whether they agree with their counterparts or not, the audience will surely be equipped with a different perspective to lead and live their everyday life to be more empathetic.

About the Speaker
Chris Singleton
Chris Singleton is a former professional athlete drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2017. Following the loss of his mother in a racially motivated mass shooting, Chris has now become an inspirational speaker and best-selling author who has shared his message of unity and racial reconciliation with NFL and NBA teams as well as multiple Fortune 500 companies across the country. He shares with over 100 organizations and over 30,000 students annually and resides with his spouse Mariana and 3 children in Charleston, SC.
